The greatest gift we can give to the world is our own healing. When we heal we create real, sustained change. It is only through learning to love & accept the Self, self forgiveness and an understanding of the Self that we can then understand one another, have real compassion or interact with the world in a grounded & heart forward approach. Otherwise we are moving through the world from our triggers & the wounded inner child; perpetuating our pain & patterns. When I say healing I mean on every level; we all need to delve into our ancestral pain & inherited generational traumas ~ it is our social responsibility. It is said that we hold pain & patterning from as far back as seven generations, is it any wonder our world is in the state it is currently in? We are all caged within these inherited belief systems, biases, pain, ignorance and emotional & belief prisons until we set ourselves free through awareness & acknowledgement. The sad thing is the majority of us do not even realise that it is with this subconscious pain & patterning that we are projecting & creating our world, unfortunately this is how we continue to contribute to the disconnect of the Collective.
I believe that in the centre of the Self, our truest state of being is a deep state of harmony, belonging, love & connection ~ our connection to Spirit that connects us to all. The illusion created by this pain & the ego is what is overshadowing our connection to Spirit, the Self, the Collective & the Earth. This contributes to the varying degrees of suffering worldwide; it is not isolated to humans but to all beings on this planet as our actions & ignorance are demonstrated through our climate crisis. This is why I believe healing to be the greatest form of Activism; for when you heal, we all heal. When we become self aware, we realise the inherent power we hold; the power & affect of our choices on not only ourselves but every other being we share this land with. It is time for us to heal, time for sustained change & time for us to live in harmony again with the Earth, with our~selves & one another.
